In any endeavor, when we plan for its success we increase our odds of success. If you haven’t realized the book success you wanted last year, here’s a way to reap the harvest with 86% improvement!
Do you believe in New Year’s Resolutions? I don’t. Partly because they are poorly defined wishes, unwritten and fuzzy dreams and contain unrealistic expectations. I do believe in planning for results I want. When we plan we increase our odds of success. Plan to finish your book project this year!
Now, check out the power of your mind to create your year just as you want. If you haven’t realized the book success you wanted last year, here’s a way to reap the harvest with 86% improvement!
When you see, hear, and feel your book project already manifested through specific outcomes, you’ll be in the 86% success group. It’s far easier to perceive specific outcomes as true when visualizing them as they already done. Claim your dream as true now in specific outcomes.
It’s always easier to look back on what led to your success than look down than long road ahead to a doubtful success because your goal is too big and so far in the future.
If you’re like me and are willing to be 86% successful or more, you’ll want to use my “Book Dream Mental Rehearsal 3-Step System” below. For my goal of creating more viable clients to coach with me, I joined four social media sites last year and participated fully. In less than six months, I created four new clients and became their accountability coach for their book and web copywriting. Over 77 have published with me over the past few years.
On a page in my business journal, I wrote these phrases:
Now that my book (business) project (name yours) is finished:
1. I SEE my site as #1 in Google with keywords “bookcoaching”
and “publish yourself online.” I see 1 in 10 web visitors opt-in for free reports and free ezine, some of which will turn into clients. .
2. I HEAR introductory coaching clients’ applause through their strong testimonials praising my “results-oriented” coaching with a heart.
3. I FEEL grateful and exhilarated I get to have this adventure, enjoying interacting with good writers who want to get their messages out to help and educate mankind in engaging ways.
With a encouragement and how to’s, they can now attract new readers and buyers–to achieve their book and business dream.
Claim your dream, then let go of it—look at it each day in the AM upon awakening and in the evening before sleep.
Broadcast your desire to help attract the help you need–support, book coach, articles, contacts, skills, even money!
Intend to manifest your book dream with all your heart, passion, energy, and focus. Know intention attracts action.
Attend to your project. Put time, energy, money, research, and practice into your task. Get up two hours earlier three days a week to do your book’s High Level Activities. To reduce your learning curve, look like a pro and finish faster, join a group that has the same purpose. You can join any of the book writing, self-publishing and marketing LinkedIn book groups. Any effort you put into your project will pay off many times the cost.
Let go of less important activities. Ask yourself “If I want to write or market this book or article, what must I say ‘no’ to?” Notice whenever you say ‘yes’ to one thing, you are saying ‘no’ to another. Make your book or business high level activities a top priority. Important goals need to be put at the top of your to-do list. If you put them on the back burner, you will not be sharing your unique talent to help others, you will not reap the reward of ongoing, lifelong income, you will not build credibility as the expert, and you will miss one of life’s greatest adventures – being a successful author.
Put yourself and your book project back on top of your to-do list. Now, think about your Return on Investment (ROI). If what you’ve done last year didn’t work, change your approach! You will finish your book this year!

Brenda,
Glad you moving forward. Keep learning from mentors, and when you are ready, let me know and I can help with a little coaching. What's your book title or topic? Do you know your best audience for the book?
Any journey is easier with a partner.
