How Judy Cullins Works as a Book and Marketing Coach

So many people at Linkedin and other forums have asked me to explain how I coach. And some of you will take to this information and some not.

Maybe you run the other way when you think of investing in some professional coaching. Your budget is low. I did too over 11 years ago, until I came to the internet, and realized it’s a long haul to learn all this good stuff that makes book sales, get your readers as your fans, and continue to build your business to make you happy, and profitable. So many don’t invest in mentoring help–and so be it. When you don’t invest, it just makes the journey so much longer, more expensive, and harder.

Many a client has told me that the sessions cost less than the yield in book sales or business profits.

Benefits of Coaching

What I do as a professional coach is short cut your learning curve to put yourself, your book and your business on the map. From just a few sessions you get new optimism, confidence, and a “can do” attitude that helps you finish any book project fast.

How the Sessions Go After the Initial One

These are a total of one hour with me.

If you are writing a book: Your assignment for your first session will be to email me a draft table of contents and a short chapter draft or 3-4 pages of another part you want feedback on. Send this 4-5 days ahead of our 40 minute coaching call. I spend 20 minutes ahead, reading your files and give them thinking time–all for the final version of your chapter or other file. It’s usually only 1 edit. .

We brainstorm on the 40-minute call together from my pointing out what’s brilliant and what’s not so important, and you answering my questions so I know what your readers will want and then your book project gets done fast. I write in the changes on your files and email them back to you to same day, so you can do your final draft within 24 hours to keep it all fresh, and to get it done within weeks or months, rather than years. Your feedback is in writing and auditory, so you’ll be able to move forward easily.

Then you get these results/benefits from each session:

•Get more clarity on what your book’s message is, and its value.

•Get focus on what to write about and not make the mistake of writing too general a book or any other writing project.

•Get clarity on who your best audience is and what are your book’s benefits because benefits are what sell books.

•Cut your learning curve by half, and make your book or promotion project doable.

•Finish at least as many chapters as you stay in our partnership.

•Learn the natural, organic writing blueprint in “Fast-Forward Chapter Writing Format” for your print or eBook to organize, make clear your message and engage your readers, so they finish and recommend your book.

•Get answers and hand holding on how to start your writing or social media promotion project, what the best tactics are, and how to measure your effectiveness.

•Get clarity on which online marketing techniques are best for your book or business. That can mean social media, article marketing, and a business blog.

What burning question do you have? What have I left out to make you more informed? Please leave it here and we’ll keep this discussion lively.

Note: Any of these coaching opportunities can be started with a 35 minute session to see if we fit.

Note: If you already had a half-hour session and want to move forward, just look at the many choices at this page.

P.S. Sometimes, when you read offers, you may not get enough information to make you want to click. What have I left out for you to know more about my coaching?

Josiah, I just visited your website and while OK, it needs some updating.

RE: your book, "Naming the Incubus" I think it needs a sub-title of its promise, and more web updates. Is this the title you refer to? It does ned a sales letter with testimonials. –Enough info to convince your visitors to buy!

How many visitors do you get a day? a month?

You can really promote your book with a book platform I can teach you in a few sessions for each venue.

Do you have a FB fan page? You need one. And do you tweet on twitter? and how about LInkedin?

Are you willing to put some time and $ investment into this important book?

Did you want to write another book?

I can offer a half hour for $35 to see what actions you should make now.
