Some of you wonder how you can keep coming up with new ideas, titles, and blog posts. For myself, know that I will never run of out of useful content for my audiences. Writing many books for 20 years and articles for nine years, you can see why.
I invite you to add some of your ideas to these six tips.
1. Write in article sets of one topic. This focuses your energy and puts you in the writing mode. No writer’s block!
2. Divide and conquer! Divide a long amount of copy (can be from your book or a discussion forum) into two or more blog postings. Just give each its own title and slant. Each to be about 500-700 words.
3. Make a list of topics or questions in categories. Your target audience wants these answered. Then, when you answer each question with more detail, you now have a post! You audience doesn’t want lists. It wants specific examples and case studies.
4. Write a similar post to a different audience. I write for authors and business people like coaches, speakers, and program leaders. Put the audience in the title.
5. Spend time creating new titles and hook introductions and place them in your WordPress folder to edit later. I skim these as my muse directs.
6. Discover as I have “old” useful copy in defunct groups or ezine directories, and “repurpose” it. Think older newsletters or videos. My latest gold mine came from my past book group at Facebook. Lots of new titles and content there.
So, if you realize that your blog is an important part of your LinkedIn Marketing, you’ll see that writing content can be so much easier and faster than you think and still have excellent quality.

Cindy, I'm glad I'm in your favorites. What do you market? Do you have a book too? I have so much more to share–here and in my new book out in time for the June 4 teleseminar.
Took me 2 months to write it–7 chapters on Linkedin Marketing to build book and biz sales.
Judy,
Thank you for providing such informative inforamtion.
Your are the BEST!
As you know I am a newbie to the Publishing World with just completing my 1st eBook about how to get a security clearance and how to maintain a security clearance. I find your information very useful.

My mastermind team got after for me for writing about my travel experiences on my business blog. One said "How is that relevant to the business world?"
Great question that made look at each interaction I had as to how it relates to improving communication.
Now that I focus on "Improving Communication" I can find in most of my activities and thus, great information for me to write in my blog. I think you call that focus!
The information here is great. I have used many of these tips and will incorporate some of the others in my daily writings.
Thanks
Steve
Thanks for the concise yet useful tips. I have ordered your E books but need to put them into practice by getting started.
Linda, Steve, Maryann, and Kathy,

I now have my LInkedin Marketing: 8 Best Tactic to Build your Book and Business Sales for only $12.95.

I hope you'll pass the word to your friends and associates. This book is especially good for new people to Socia Media Marketing.
Kathy, I always teach my short term clients to be sure to target their market or they will only get lookie loos to their sites and blogs. In just a few months in doing this in my blog and connecting it to LInkedin, I'm now only 340,000 on Alexa when I came from over 600,000 moinths ago. That's a good score for a small business. If you want some specific help and feedback on your blog, I can offer you my $35 session at http://www.bookcoaching.com/social-media.php You email me your questions ahead, and we get it going on the phone.
Cynthia, Thanks for putting me in your favorites. And you can also subscribe here and get all my blog articles in your email box–conveniently. I wonder what you market?
I would also add to keep your eyes and ears open during travel (both business and vacations). Quite often, new locations will stimulate new ideas for content. On a recent mini speaking tour of Southern California, I completed two full video episodes and numerous blog posts based on some of the places I visited and related them to my topics of interest.
Glad I'm receiving your tips!! And I sent you an email about a week or so ago about writing for the TOp Ten Productivity Tips (www.TopTenProductivityTips.com) – since I have a whole series just for writers. I would love to have you share your ideas and let me get the word out about you. Let me know (meggin@meggin.com).
ClintCora,Thanks for your added ideas. We should all use the world as part of our stories.
Would also like to add that it is extremely important that you jot down a blog idea as soon as it comes to you. Often you are convinced you will remember your “great idea” only not to be able to pull up the idea again.
Kathy, Great added idea to this blog post. THanks.
I keep all my ideas and partial posts in my WordPress Folder, and put the word "Edit" at end, so when the muse strikes, I have dozens of choices to transform them into a useful blog article. This kind of content Google loves, and it's uped my traffic by 57% in the last 4 months.
Hi Judy,
You send so many great tips. I appreciate them. What do you mean by the WordPress Folder? I know I can put drafts and ideas into my blog dashboard for later finishing. Is this what you mean?
Hi Karen, I use word for folders for my blog. Guess you are teaching me something new –a blog dashboard! How does it happen this way? The only problem is I have so many to do.
